What I Wore Today - 11/10/10

Skinny Jeans

• Black tank top
• $5 crystal necklace from the UFO festival
• Men’s plaid shirt (that was too uncomfortable so I changed into my turquoise cardigan)
• Moccasins
• Peace belt
• Braided headband that won’t stay on my head
• Hair that I took the time to “fix” and no one even noticed

I look like an old hippie. And old MAN hippie.

What I Wore Today - 11/5/10 & 11/6/10

• New peace sign belt
• New “jeggings” because my other pair of jeans ripped
• Leopard print shoes
• $2 tank top
• “Where’s Waldo”/Bob Dylan sweater from Seattle

I was worried about wearing this to work because I didn’t want any remarks about looking patriotic. I wore it anyway because “technically it’s orange”…unfortunately I was greeted the moment I walked in with “You look so patriotic today!” To which I replied “It’s orange.”

• Gray and black striped cardigan
• Turquoise polka-dot tank top ($3)
• Denim leggings
• Leopard shoes
• Owl bling ($10)

Looked and felt like crap today, but…meh. I actually wore a belt half the day, too. And I don’t know how often I’ll wear that necklace. It weighs like 10 pounds and doesn’t really make the screwed up nerves and muscles in my neck feel great.

I swear.

Daily Drawings: Note To Self

Left myself a note before bed so I wouldn't forget what I needed to take to work.
Tuna - for the third day in a row because I don't really know what to eat with my diabetes yet.
Whole Wheat Crackers - To eat with my tuna cos I'm not really supposed to have bread
The rest of the Guinness Cake - so it won't rot in my kitchen
3 bottles of water - because my place of employment only sells sodas. The two I put in the fridge got stolen. WTF co-workers?!

Immediately went into greaser mode. This picture got a lot of attention...positive attention. I was trying to be silly, but apparently this is a good look for me. The funniest part about the whole ordeal is how shocked people seemed to be by my appearance...

If you're on Tumblr, there's a good chance you've seen the meme going around the past several hours of topless, bespectacled, babes and babe-ettes inspired by a few friends of mine.

I did one earlier today with my Elvis cookbook, but since it was so spur of the moment, it wasn't my favorite picture of myself. Thought I'd put a slightly more sultry picture out there promoting how sexy designerds can be. And what's sexier than a girl with a copy of Hand Job? ;)

Hello!

Hello, there, boys and girls! It's late and I'm exhausted and I would love nothing more than to just collapse into my bed and fall fast asleep, but that's not going to happen. My oh-so-humble abode looks like it was hit by a tornado and I can't seem to find my bed :/ I wish I lived a normal life where I could just crash on the couch when everything is too piled up to deal with, but... I don't.
